Zupply is a Danish startup that supports companies in the construction industry in transitioning to circular economy models. They do so by using data and automation to initiate workflows to efficiently map, manage, quantify, and circulate building and construction materials or products among different stakeholders. Zupply's software platform creates digital twins powered by artificial intelligence which simplifies planning, design, and management of the engineering elements that are needed to implement circularity in construction projects.

Implementing circular practices in construction projects often requires up to three times as many hours of work by building owners, architects, and consultants due to manual effort in data collection and document creation, steps that are subject to errors and that delay projects, according to the Copenhagen-based company.

Founded in 2022 by Jose Tavares and Adam Mezővári, with a team of experts in engineering, construction, and enterprise SaaS development, combining data from 3D models, scans, drawings, and databases, Zupply creates digital twins that, enhanced with AI, can generate the required documents in just a few clicks, greatly reducing implementation time from weeks to days.

The presence of digital twins allows for product and material inventories that can be tracked throughout the lifecycle and that can be shared with internal or external users. In reporting and analysis, Zupply software allows data to be visualised and organised according to business KPIs. Finally, the startup is working to establish and scale material pick-up systems to enable suppliers to recover components from demolished buildings.
