What is shaping the bioplastics industry? The answer lies at the European Bioplastics Conference 2024 in Berlin. Two days of conferences, both face-to-face and online, aim to bring clarity to the industry with talks and presentations from leading figures in the field.
Indeed, the need to prioritize bioplastics on the circular economy agenda is now clear, and the European Bioplastics Conference, of which Renewable Matter is a media partner, is the leading discussion and business forum in Europe for the global bioplastics industry. The conference will take place from 10 to 11 December 2024, when bioplastics will take centre stage internationally.
What's new about the European Bioplastics Conference 2024?
The event's hybrid format will make it even easier to attend in person at the Titanic Hotel in Berlin, as well as from the comfort of your own home. Networking opportunities will also be available online. In addition to the exhibition, two free events are planned. On 9 December, from 17:00 to 20:00 CET, there will be a meeting focusing on recycling approaches and technologies, organised in cooperation with EU-funded research and innovation projects. On 12 December, from 09:00 to 15:30 CET, the conclusion of the EU-funded PRESERVE project: The Bio-based Packaging Revolution will be celebrated. The European Bioplastics Conference 2024 aims to demonstrate how biopolymers can drive innovation towards a more environmentally sustainable future, without compromising material efficiency and functionality. The exhibition is divided into eight thematic areas that will explore the present, future, impacts, alternatives, and global landscape of bioplastics.
