Ecomondo and Key Energy had to surrender to the decree of the Italian Prime Minister presented on 25 October, which established the suspension of fairs and conferences of any kind.

Two weeks for the largest digital fair on the green economy

Despite the safety protocol developed and ready for months, IEG - Italian Exhibition Group, the company that manages the fair, had to remodel in a digital format all the Ecomondo and Key Energy events, which were scheduled for 3 to November 6 at the Rimini Exhibition Center in the presence of 650 companies. The two events have been redesigned in the largest digital event for the green world, extended to two weeks, from 3 to 15 November 2020, for a digital double green week.
The two fairs dedicated, the first, to circular economy and green technologies, and the second to renewable energy and energy efficiency, will thus be completely transferred to the digital platform already prepared. The entire community of reference - professionals, companies, researchers and journalists - will be involved online. The States General of the Green Economy

The opening event, as usual, will be the States General of the Green Economy, this year in streaming on 3 and 4 November.
The ninth edition of the conference focuses on the theme of the Recovery Plan and its use to push the development of the Italian green economy. There will be a confrontation with politics and the Public Administration about specific proposals for the Italian Plan for access to “Next Generation UE” funds.
Among the thematic panels, we particularly recommend "The measures for the circular economy in the national Recovery Plan" and "The opportunities of the Green Deal for the Italian agri-food system" on November 3^rd.
