Piero Pelizzaro

Piero Pelizzaro is Director of urban resilience and city lead in the H2020 Lighthouse Sharing Cities Programme for the Municipality of Milan. He is Chief Resilience Officer – Head of Resilient Cities Project – and has 10-year experience as an advocate for climate change and planning urban resilience. He was also outside consultant for the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of Land and Sea and has been managing flagship projects by the European Commission for a number of years.
