Cristiana Simão Seixas is Senior Researcher at the Environmental Studies and Research Centre (NEPAM) at the UNICAMP, Brazil. Member of the São Paulo State Academy of Science. She co-chaired the Regional Assessment for the Americas of the Intergovernmental Platform for Biodiversity and Ecosystems Services (IPBES) (2015-18) and the first Brazilian Marine-Coastal Assessment on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services of THE BPBES (2020-2024).
