Christian Elia

Journalist and writer, covers the Balkans and the Middle East, memory and migration, conflict and human rights. Author of books, he also writes for radio and theater. He conducted reportages in forty countries, published by Internazionale, l'Espresso, il Venerdì, Millennium, Altreconomia, among others. He currently collaborates with MicroMega and is a member of the investigative journalism collective IRPI. He directs the magazines Q Code Mag and ArabPop, and Meglio di un Romanzo, the section of the Mantova Festivaletteratura dedicated to under-30 narrative journalism. He has written two books on Israel and Palestine: Walking the Line (2017, Milieu edizioni), with Cecilia Dalla Negra and Gianluca Cecere, and J'Accuse (2023, FuoriScena edizioni), a book interview with Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories.
