The application period for the innovation award Renewable Material of the Year 2021 is still open until March 31. The award, promoted by nova-Institute, will go to the best renewable material, i.e. produced by avoiding the use of fossil raw materials and instead using biomass, recycled materials or sequestered CO2.
The six finalists, chosen by a jury of experts, will present their innovations during the
Renewable Materials Conference 2021, which will be held online from 18 to 20 May.

Renewable Materials for a Sustainable Future

What are the renewable materials suitable for a future society that is truly sustainable?
This is the question that nova-Institute intends to answer by bringing together the most interesting companies and startups in the sector in a single event: the Renewable Materials Conference 2021.
Bio-based materials, CO2-based or produced from recycling: all alternatives, in short, to the exploitation of fossil sources for the production of polymers. The market is increasingly asking for low-carbon products and "ready-to-use" solutions.
To give a boost to innovation, nova-Institute therefore promotes an award, sponsored by Covestro, which wants to intercept the innovations that are about to be launched on the market.
