Upcycling our Buildings

We still have to construct 60% of the buildings necessary to accommodate the current rate of growth and urbanisation. Yet we do not have sufficient material resources: for this reason, it is necessary to re-use and re-imagine buildings. Starting with decommissioned manufactured goods: true mines of cement, timber and bricks.


In architecture it is possible to combine aesthetics, sustainability, quality and harmony with the surrounding environment. Out of Denmark emerges the example of Lendager Group, an architecture firm that uses upcycled cement, timber and bricks obtained locally, whilst also ending the year 2017 with 29 new employees.
